Real Simple Magazine

One of my first magazine jobs was as senior designer and art director for Real Simple's Special Projects dept. I had no idea what I was doing but the visionary Vanessa Holden took me in and partnered me with the super talented Design Director Eva Spring. Those two incredible women would become my first design mentors. Still to this day their thoughtful (and quite different) guidance is present in all I touch. Vanessa's organic, bold and playful style with Eva's refined design aesthetic gave me the best foundation I could ever ask for.
